Alejandra Sosa Lopez is a design-led UX engineer and product designer based in Austin, Texas. She is pursuing a BFA in Communication Design at Texas State University, where her work spans interaction design, brand identity, typography, and web development. Writing code is part of how she designs: she uses it to sketch interactions, iterate fast, and turn concepts into something you can use in the browser. She is the researcher behind Spinning the Digital Thread, a practice-based project at the intersection of textiles, code, and colonial language history, developed with support from the DesignInquiry Fellowship and the Texas State IDEA Center.
